Ball State to conduct archaeological survey in Hartford City


Ball State University''s Department of Anthropology has received a $49,519 grant to conduct an archaeological survey of 900 acres in Blackford County.

The grant is one of 14 federal grants totaling $394,298 awarded statewide by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for historic preservation projects.

The funds, intended to help strengthen Indiana''s historical and cultural heritage, come from the National Park Service.
